Magpie Hornsea Small Bird Dish Blue

We are so excited to be stocking these wonderful pieces which were originally created by John Clappison, the chief designer at Hornsea in the 1960’s.
The clever people at Magpie have redrawn this stylised bird from the original illustrations archived in the Hornsea Museum and created new ceramic moulds in two sizes, glazing them using authentic Hornsea colours of the period.
Made from hand glazed stoneware featuring hand applied decals. Each one is unique.
